MiR+Pathway:
MiR+Pathway is a new signaling pathways database by integrating the 8882 human miRNA-target interactions (MTIs) and 150 KEGG signaling pathways. All MTIs are typically verified by specific experimental validation, such as EGFP reporter assay, luciferase reporter assay and western blot. Users can intuitively observer which signaling pathways and what genes of the signaling pathway are regulated by a miRNA, what miRNAs target a signaling pathway. To analyze which signaling pathways the targets of a certain miRNA or multiple miRNAs are enriched in, we design the KEGG analysis for miRNA by using the hypergeometric test. In addition, miRPathway provides the information of MTIs, PubMed ID, experimental verification method. Users can retrieve signal pathways regulated by a miRNA or a gene by input their names.

KEGG PATHWAY
KEGG PATHWAY is a collection of manually drawn pathway maps representing our knowledge on the molecular interaction, reaction and relation networks for Metabolism Genetic, Information Processing, Environmental Information Processing, Cellular Processes, Organismal Systems, Human Diseases and Drug Development.
miRNA
miRNA is a short non-coding RNAs with length of 20 ~ 25 nucleotides, and their major function is to reduce corresponding protein synthesis or inhibit target mRNAs translation by binding to the 3’untranslated regions of mRNA. Many studies have shown that miRNAs are involved in a variety of important signaling pathways, such as p53 signaling pathway and ATM-AKT pathway etc.
