Introduction

"Anopheles stephensi is a primary mosquito vector of malaria with geographical range from central and southeastern Asia to Africa. It is an important vector for both malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax parasite which is transmitted through the bite of a female mosquito."
