Long non-coding RNAs are a kind of endogenous molecules with a length greater than 200 nucleotides and with no coding potential. The studies show that lncRNAs can interact with the miRNAs as a competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs) to regulate the expression of target genes. What’s more, the ceRNAs can play an importance role in the initiation and progression of a lot of cancers. However, there is no database collecting experimental verification ceRNA data for human beings. LncCeRBase database which integrated 432 lncRNA-miRNA-miRNA interactions, including 130 lncRNAs, 214 miRNAs and 245 genes from 300 publications. A growing number of studies shown that the interaction between lncRNA and miRNA would provide new ideas in diagnosis and treatment of complex disease. LncCeRBase can help us to understand the regulatory mechanism of lncRNA.
